Support Oasis in the 2009 Blackmores Running Festival
Take part in the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival on Sunday, 20 September 2009 and help Oasis raise much needed funds, while also having fun and keeping fit. Oasis is one of the official charity partners for this year's event and we encourage you to get a group together and participate in this event.

The 17th annual Oasis Ball
Join hundreds of Oasis supporters at this year's Oasis Ball on Saturday, 29 August 2009 at Star City Casino's Grand Harbour Ballroom, and help homeless and disadvantaged young people get their lives back on track. Enjoy a fun night full of entertainment from Australia's favourite artists and comedians and bid on a range of unique items and experiences in the live and silent auctions. All funds raised at the Ball goes directly to help Oasis rebuild shattered young lives.

2009 Street TV course kicks off
Oasis and Foxtel are running the Street TV course, now in it's fifth consecutive year. Six young people from Oasis have been selected to undertake the hands-on six-week TV production course. Participants learn about writing, sound, video, scripting, editing and post production in order to produce three short films.

On 21 December 2008, the Prime Minister, the Hon Kevin Rudd MP and the Minister for Housing, Tanya Plibersek MP, released the Government's White Paper on Homelessness: 'The Road Home'.
The Road Home sets the strategic agenda for halving homelessness by 2020!
